Newsprint Rolls
Newsprint rolls are a lighter-weight, unprinted paper made specifically without ink transfer, a common choice for wrapping dishware and glassware where residue from printed newspaper would be a problem. It costs less than kraft paper and works well for general cushioning and void fill. Many operations use it as the default fill for lower-value shipments and save kraft for items needing more strength. We stock it in bulk roll sizes.
Q: Is newsprint the same as old newspaper?
A: No. Our newsprint rolls are blank, unprinted paper made specifically for packing, so there's no ink transfer risk the way there would be with reused newspaper.
Q: Is newsprint strong enough for shipping fragile items?
A: It works well for wrapping and light cushioning, but for heavier protection needs, pair it with honeycomb cushioning or a sturdier kraft paper.
